It has been a busy few weeks for the club with plenty to celebrate. We welcome new members, Gaius, Trish, Alan, Craig, Ariadne and David.
In September we had a very successful trip to the Farne Islands to see the seals, many thanks to George for the organisation. Unfortunately, our trip to Eyemouth was blown out.
However, our trip in October to Laga Lodge, Loch Sunart went ahead with 3 boats and 15 divers making the long trip. The weather was mixed but as well as diving within the Loch excursions were made into the Sound of Mull to dive Calve Island. And no trip to Loch Sunart would be complete without a visit to the Ardnamurchan Distillery!
In November we had a trip to Loch Fyne, where more divers had their first taste of sea diving, with plenty of life for them to see.
Training has also been very busy with numerous trips to Capernwray and Crummock water. In November we saw DAVID, DAISY, ISAAC and AIMEE qualify as Ocean Divers, we wish them safe and happy diving. Also in November Nancy,Lois,Sebastian and Monica had their first open water dives.
Finally, congratulations go to MARINA & DALE who succesfully completed the Instructor Foundation Course in November.
