We’ve been incredibly productive at the club over the past few months and cannot wait to see where the next few months take us!
Several of our divers have successfully completed their Ocean Diver qualifications — huge congratulations to Freddie, Henry, and Jan on this fantastic achievement!
We’d also like to extend a big congratulations to Rosie and Kevin for earning their Sports Diver qualification — well done to you both!
Tony and Alan have each reached an impressive milestone of 100 dives – congratulations to both!
And a special mention to David Maskell, who has now completed an incredible 700 dives – an amazing achievement!
We have had 4 try dives in the last 3 months which brings our yearly total currently up to 18! This is absolutely amazing for our club! Thank you to all of our fabulous instructors that have supported this!
Our diving statistics are on the rise too, thanks to all the dive trips planned by our fantastic members!
Over the past three months, we’ve had five day trips to Capernwray Dive Centre – by far our most popular site, thanks to its excellent training facilities.
We’ve also enjoyed:
Two day trips to Wastwater
One evening trip to Crummock Water
One day trip to St Catherine’s
And two liveaboard trips to the Sound of Mull aboard the Gaelic Rose!
We hope all of our divers have had a brilliant time on the trips and we are just getting started with many more planned over the next couple of months!

Unfortunately for several of our members (though perhaps not for the cause!), we are tackling a fundraising challenge in support of the RNLI.
We’re taking on the challenge of covering 883 miles – the distance from Land’s End to John O’Groats – by walking, running, cycling, or swimming!
Our fantastic volunteers have been working hard, clocking up the miles and raising funds for a charity we’re incredibly passionate about.
