Congratulations to LEON who has recently qualified as an Ocean Diver, we wish him happy and safe diving.
We welcome to the club our newest members JAMES who is doing dry suit training and ISAAC our latest junior member, we wish him all success in his training.
Most of our latest batch of trainees are ready to take their first plunge into open water following their dry suit training.
This month members have been involved in a trip to Kinlochbervie, the Nudibranch Festival at Eyemouth, technical diving with Marine Quest out of Eyemouth and a weekend diving trip with Dive Stay, again out of Eyemouth. Tony and George had their first boat dives and despite the cold water (9 deg.) everyone (mostly) enjoyed the weekend and the meal on Saturday at The Ship Inn; many thanks to Bob & Catherine for organising it all.
Coming up in June are training trips to Capernwray and Crummock and a couple of members are also off to dive the Orkneys.
